Thanks Arkaign,
I was trying OnSale's site itself. I finally did find it but the site is HAMMERED. I've been trying to check out for 20 minutes but it keeps timing out. And when it does show up, few of the graphics are refreshing, so it is difficult to figure out HOW to check out.

No sooner than my post I clicked the link and its now sold out. Sorry.

I read HP is continuing with the OS and licensing it out for other hardware manufacturers so they lose on the hardware but possibly jumpstarted WebOS. Still there is the team trying to port Android to the device and they easily rooted the HP tablet.

Mitch101: Thanks. I had tried the 16GB link from Arkaign, but OnSale shut that one down. (Amazon thoughtfully put it in my "Save for Later" queue) I was able to place an order in seconds for the 32GB model.

Should be a fun toy.

Yea after reading the touchdroid site (Up about 2 days) things look good for an android port.

With every place selling off their inventory paying tax might be the only option if you can find one. I paid the $10.00 tax.

I ordered a 16 GB unit from onSale to go with the 32 GB unit I ordered from Best Buy this morning. Hopefully I will receive at least one unit. If I receive two and the wife doesn't want one, I'll just sell the other.

Thanks IndyColtsFan! I just ordered the 16 GB through Amazon. This makes up for all of the clicking at the HP Business site 🙂

Don't thank me yet -- many feel that these won't ship. I just don't trust my order with BB and am trying to give myself an insurance policy even though this probably isn't a good one to have. 😀

Meh it's through Amazon and at this point the best chance I have of getting one. So hopefully it'll go through, and if not, I'm in no worse shape. I can't get one through HP, BB or any other site thus far.

I can't believe how so many big etailers are down this weekend just because of a single fire sale. Did they ever heard of scalability and cloud computing? No wonder Anonymous finds it so easy to DDoS them.

<=== Holding my breath for onSale order to actually ship. Order confirmation received.

I ordered 2 16GBs through the Amazon OnSale link, and 1 32GB through the same... sure hope it ships. We shall see...

onSale definitely had a huge stock, but probably not enough to cover the thousands of units ordered the last 2 hours. Keep an eye on Newegg tomorrow for a price drop.

Between the Kindle App, Browser ability, and Video playback I think there is enough to justify the cost if nothing more is every developed for it and your stuck with two devices.

Thats' more than enough for my $100 🙂

I really need the Kindle functionality -- I had debated for months about buying a Kindle because i have a lot of big technical books that I read and use for reference. I was about to pull the trigger on a Kindle and learned Amazon will release a tablet in October and decided to wait for that.

Then, this deal comes and I had to jump on it.

P.S. A charge of $105.79 has shown up on my card from Amazon/onSale. :awe:
