If you hate it there so much, what steps are you taking to transfer somewhere else?

I am beyond redemption, sir. =(

Did you even try? It's really not that hard to transfer. I thought about transferring out to another UC school and was worried my grades would keep me stuck in Riverside. In the end I decided not to transfer but I was accepted to transfer to UCI, UCSB, or UCSC.

No use staying there if you hate it so much.

I'm a creature of habit. But seriously, I would have trouble paying for school if I went anywhere else because my family doesn't have a lot of $$$$$$$$ (we don't sell drugs like Dev does, inside joke). In a lot of ways I am greatful for Riverside for providing a lot of assistance and reletively low cost of living. I don't totally hate it. A lot of the bashing goes on here because I'm the type who likes to pick out the worst things about Riverside. There are a lot of good things about Riverside too that I havn't talked about.

I have to work a lot harder to even consider transfering.

+Grants I get from the UC and gov' (a large sum)
- books
- college tuitions and fees
- living expenses (rent, food, etc)
- loans for school
---------------------------------------------------
I pay almost nothing (net cost) to attend UCR... it's good to be needy =P

In addition, my parents hasn't given me one cent since I enrolled in UCR, nor do I work... and I have more money in the bank, from refund checks, then I owe in loans.

Granted UCR may be not as good as the other UC's, but how many of you out there can say that you pay almost nothing to attend college?
