So I head this on the radio this morning. Its a clip of Howard Stern sending someone out to interview people in Harlem on why they support Obama. I found it pretty interesting so i found the clip on Youtube and decided to post it here to see what eveyone thought about it.

Personally, I pray this doesn't represent a good percentage of Obama supporters, because if it does, it shows how some follow a candidate so blindly.

Who cares what a moron like Howard Stern thinks and why don't you post something original instead of copying stuff off the radio. Think for yourself, you unoriginal duffus.

Funny - I don't see you demanding originality from the likes of JPeyton or Techs when they do their daily drive-by's with the day's headlines.

It's not my argument. Neither of us agree with their reasons. If you want to find out more, go search.

If you're implying Ayers, you know that Ayers and McCain share benefactors in Leonore Annenberg, right?

Like I said, they don't have any reasons. That's why McCain is losing. Mainstream America looks at both sides and sees that the crazies who back McCain are worse than the crazies who back Obama. It's not rocket science, yaknow.

I'm not implying Ayers.
LOL, keep guessing Vic.

Why are you doing this? Just say what you mean instead of playing stupid games.

Okay, I'll start at the beginning. Why don't they accuse the white candidate of being a terrorist for no reason?

Because they believe they have reasons?

I dont appreciate people going around accusing others of anything just based upon a 'belief'

I would only lay down accusations if I had facts to back up such beliefs.

I accuse John McCain of cannibalism because I believe he ate babies back when he was a POW in Vietnam.

vote Obama!

People arent voting for Obama, they are voting against the Republican candidate. Sorry lefties, people didnt wake up Marxist. They just dont like the economy/Iraq/movies like "Beverly Hills Chihuahua".

Except they weren't voting against the (R) candidate when they voted Obama the (D) nominee. 😉

Gawd I love this country. The religious Jesus-squad blindly votes for the (R), and a whole race of people will vote for the (D) because of skin color.

Look at the progress we have made!

What about the whole race of people who voted (D) when there wasn't a black candidate? 😕

And i'll post here what I posted there...

As an AVID Stern fan, I wouldn't consider this newsworthy personally. Many of the antics of Richard and Sal are purely for shock value, stupidity and humor. While it indeed does show there are some people willing to put race first, I don't think it rises to any level worthy of real discussion. They don't mention how many people they approached, or even if the people they approached were registered voters or knew anything about the campaigns.

As others noted, its going to be a two way street. I'm sure some people will vote for Obama simply because he is black and some will vote against him for the exact same reason.

Personally, I would take anything said on Stern for its intended value, humor.

Honestly though, do you think they would have had a response back in 2004 on why they'd vote for Kerry? They're just voting along party lines.

But it's Harlem, they're 90% impoverished and black with the educational level of my left pinky. Nobody even knows who the VP's are, let alone their policies.

And they vote the same way you do. What does say about you?

You obviously didnt understand my argument you are referring to. Please go back to calling McCain a traitor, you're much better at that.

McTraitor is a traitor and nobody understands your arguments because they aren't arguments they're just garbage but try thinking up your own instead of copying them off the radio and admit when you plagiarize and copy stuff.

Exactly. Stern isn't trying to do some sort of drama-ridden exposé on how misinformed Obama's supporters are. He's just having fun with people, something he's always done and always will do. Politically, he's a Libertarian. He's one of the many people who rightly feels like both major parties are a bunch of idiots. So if he does have a political agenda at all, it's not to promote one candidate over the other.

They're a hell of a lot smarter than rural white voters who have consistently voted against their own economic self interest for more than 30 years.

This election might finally change that.

I think the large majority of supporters of both sides know very little. Just last night on MSNBC they asked the head volunteer at one of Obama's campaign offices what she thought of Obama's economic plan, and she had NO idea. She stuttered something about Obama hiring Clinton staff members. They mentioned that they talked to someone from a McCain office a few minutes earlier (I missed it), and I'm sure they got a similar result.

Winston Churchill was right about the average voter.

I've consistently gotten the impression recently that no one in politics seems to know what to do about the economy. Not Obama, not McCain, not a single congressman or senator, not the President. Certainly not the voters.

I agree that he's immature and can be a jerk, but I'm not sure I understand your comment about 'citizenship responsibilities'. Care to elaborate?

He has a duty as a citizen to be aware of the issues and vote. Everybody should have at least a minimum political agenda to vote for the lesser of any evil that has a chance to win and not fritter ones vote away in apathy or on some joke third party, no?

I'm voting against reaganonmics this election.

I think that its obsession with deregulation and tax breaks for the rich ignores manipulation of the system that occurs when there isn't targetted and appropriate regulation.

I don't support over regulation or purposely stifling businesses, but I also don't trust them to do the right thing without appropriate oversight.
