I'd say Fedex and USPS are pretty good. UPS sucks, their drivers and dispatchers are morons.

UPS is the worst excuse for shipping in the world. IF you order cross border, they add 20-50% to your order as their handling charge and irregardless of what people ship you here, it ends up on your front steps with the UPS driver signing the delivery notice for you. They left my digital camera and 3 other packages on the same day on the front steps and the wind blew one of them in the ditch- I'm not so sure my electronic equipment works better when left in water.

Is DHL new? I don't remember hearing anything about them before a month or two ago.

I guess I've never really had a problem with UPS, but FedEx Ground always seems to be cheaper and includes insurance and tracking. Don't use USPS for anything.

Oh, I should mentioned I just shipped a taped-up Sterilite trashcan full of clothes from New Mexico to Nebraska using FedEx Ground and it went through fine. Yay for FedEx!

A wise man once said "Fedex breaks your packages, UPS loses them, and Airborne Express sells them to the Russian Mafia"

What is the reasoning for NOT giving the USPS a 5? They're quick, cheaper than the others, more easily accessible, free Saturday delivery, and I hear of less problems with USPS than anyone. Fedex is fine, just expensive, so it takes a back seat to USPS for me.

The only problem I have with them is they have no real tracking. They only tell you if your package has already arrived at your house.

Fedex 5: They have always delivered on time in my experience and sometimes exceeded expectations. Their delivery person is very friendly from my experience.

UPS 3: Over priced but gets the job done.

USPS 2: I don't use them anymore ever since they lost my package that contained a retail boxed P4 which costed me $300. Horrible, just horrible. They are by far the slowest unless you pay for Priority.

good point about usps and lack of tracking, however, the price is right and they are the easiest to use - locations EVERYWHERE!

fed ex super saver from the egg is good - always fast.
