How would one know he is addicted to caffeine?

How many cups of coffee a day would it take for one to get addicted to it?

One is drinking > 200mg caffeine a day.

One is wondering if 200 mg a day continuous will get one addicted?

Psychologically I can easily quit coffee. Physically I get a screaming headache if I don't get caffeine by noon or so. I drink 1-2 pots per day.

just depends.
as said just test, go a few days without. if its only slightly off then its not that bad. if u go haywire then yea u are screwed. i can abstain pretty ok.

a genes been discovered that allows some people to fast metabolize caffeine.

some of the most caffeine-addicted people i've worked with were the
theoretical physicists at SLAC. 20-25 cups a day.

the head of security at one place i worked drank 2 6 packs a day of
diet coke. plenty of caffeine there.

Tony Mandarich took the cake, i loved reading about his caffeine-fueled
workouts. he was a line-man for the Packers.

Its weird. During the day, I feel somewhat lethargic unless I have some caffeine. However, I can go camping for days without caffeine and feel fine the whole time. I'm not sure if I'm addicted or if I'm just tired during normal days.
