How would one know he is addicted to caffeine?

I do it all the time. Been off caffeine for 8 months or so. I sleep better, can function better, however now if I do happen to have something with caffeine I get absolutely wired.

Most weeks I don't have any caffeine at all. It actually allows me to function better at work too.

I do not know how much it takes, but when you are like me and do not have a coffee for a few hours and get a blistering headache....you are addicted.

At least it is cheap and delicious.
