So kids, be careful what you post in public. Good thing I love my job.

LOL! Talk about severe self-pwnage. :Q

Things like this are happening more and more these days. I've been educating my wife about this very topic. I browsed a few of her friends' Facebook pages and made a few notes:

Judy's husband is on a business trip this week and she's posting from "a friend's house" (with smiley and winky faces) in the post. I'm sure her hubby would like to know.

Bob hates his boss and details his professional sabotage attempts online. Im' sure his boss would like to know.

You can't be too careful these days.

I have no sympathy for her stupidity. She will learn to not be so open with what she says in a public arena.

Also, where is the "fattie" I was hoping to see pics of fatties!!!

I don't get it. There were 3 posts total. And all she said was that she has to decide if she will take a good paying job that has a horrible commute. What is so bad here?

About her resume... if you have a resume like that do you really need to list word excel and power point? Pretty sure she could write those programs on the spot herself if she wanted to.

No.

"Cisco just offered me a job! Now I have to weigh the utility of a fatty paycheck against the daily commute to San Jose and hating the work."

She currently has a good paying job. Cisco offered her a job for unknown $, an assumably longer commute, and she apparently would hate the job.

She publically told Cisco to go pound sand, basically.

No, she said - I just got offered a job that pays a lot better, but the commute sucks and I don't think I will enjoy the work.

I don't see how that in anyway is an insult to cisco.

Cisco and it's employees are evidently a bunch of pansy-ass tightwads

That is what I get out of this whole ordeal.

If that's really the worst she said, this is pretty stupid.

I don't see it as an insult to Cisco, but if I were the hiring manager and I knew she would hate the job I would not hire her

Meh, I've had a number of jobs I hated and have been the best in my department/company at them.

Yes, but you have a higher chance of being good at your job if you don't hate it - plus hating your job and being unable to contain the hatred can poison the work environment. I would imagine most HR people would tell you to avoid hiring people who tell you that they will hate the job you are offering them
