2) still a geek, my friends are cool which is really all that matters... still dress real nice... no real gf atm... i guess i would be slotted as in the cool crowd @ work... managers love hanging out with us and other peeps @ work flock to us as well...

After, do tell about your current job/living conditions?

I just told Hef to run and get me a bourbon on the rocks. And make it snappy.
So still living in your parent's basement. ;)

i was pretty popular, i knew most people in the school in my year and they knew me. ill be honest though as soon as i went to college i hardly ever spoke to them much again, instead making new friends at college. then when i went to uni, the same thing happened.

i dont know why, i have plenty of friends/aquaintences, plenty of people who dont mind sharing time with me, but really no one worth waiting for if you get me. i just move on.

i joined face book and it seems to be much the same, a few guys still keep in touch regularly like they were still in school, but the majority just seemed to have moved on to a new set of friends.

im not to bothered to be honest, yeah some of them are great people and good to hang round with but when your spread out round the country and you have more pressing matters such as degrees to attend to only the very very strong friendships will last.

HS: The loner, the outcast, the shy or however you call it. Popularity - never pay much attendion to it. Hmm.. now that I think about it, I am not sure who was popular in my HS at the time. shrug. Nobody teased me or anything so I guess I am just blend right in.

Now - try to make a living and make sure all my family's needs are met. There are only a few I consider friend, the rest are aquantaints. Still see them once in a blue noon when they came back for visit.

Nerd that probably 99% of the class didn't or wouldn't remember.

15 years later, the only friends I have are a couple still left from HS.

I never really had a group to hang out with before I got a car. My only friends were my neighbors, and that usually was one person at a time.

Once I got a car, I started to meet new people, but I was pretty geeky.

I now have more friends than I can handle (can't keep up with everyone), and I go out most nights of the week... at 28 years old. I couldn't be more different than I was in high school.

I was fairly friendly with all the cliques, but made a LOT of close friends with people that weren't weird, but didn't fit into any one of them in particular. That was me, as well. I seem to make friends easily and keep them forever.

I'm still very close with friends from gradeschool, middleschool, highschool, and college. I try to keep in touch with friends that have moved across the country, just like my family did.

I usually throw a couple of big parties during the year, and I can usually get 20 of them to show! I definately have more friends than I have time. A friend and I are planning a charter fishing trip and it was hard to narrow them down to the limit of 6. :) It's a nice problem to have!

LOL!! Yeah I was the same way.

*cues up Ferris Bueller* Grace: Oh, he's very popular Ed. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sl*ts, bloods, waistoids, dweebies, d*ckheads - they all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude.

i was one of those crossover kids. played sports 3 years in hs, had long hair and smoked on the "curb", but also was a computer geek and in chess, spanish and vica clubs. i had friends in all the main groups, so i cant really classify myself. now im just a dad that does programming. not many RL friends, but who has time for all that with 3 kids and video games? =P the friends i do have are very good ones, and we hang out often. i just dropped the acquaintances that were fair weather friends and such.

Considering I homeschool and the only other student is my twin brother, I'd say I'm fairly popular!

You can be popular and homeschooled at the same time, get out and go hang wherever the highschoolers from your public school hang.

Cant. The school is 30 miles away. Cant afford the gas just to go do that.

Quiet, smart kid. Only people I hung out with/tolerated me were the punk kids.

Today I only keep a handful of friends. Most people are back stabbing, selfish animals and I don't need them.

HS: Quiet, always on the sidelines, geeky clothes, not really liked/hated, didn't fit in, didn't care. To sum up, ghosted my way through bu made some impressions...strangely.

Now-College: Quiet, don't give a *hit attitude, ghosting extremely well.

Aye. Being mainly on the sidelines, I'm very observant, and this is exactly why I don't care I'm not part of the 'in' group getting drunk, whoring myself out to it in.

I had a group of friends, but most of them drifted away (although them + lots of others are facebook friends, yay!). Only talk to one guy from my high school regularly these days. I was pretty shy, but I never shied away from making comments that make people give me weird looks (always the best)! Never had a girlfriend until the summer after HS.

Now, I'd say I have a pretty good group of friends. The girlfriends got progressively hotter as well (at first, hey, I was desparate ;)) I keep up with most of my friends from college, and I've done pretty well making friends since I've moved to Atlanta, about as well as possible. Dating two girls that are both pretty attractive now =) Being president of my fraternity really increased my social skills and was one of the scariest, yet best things I ever did.
