For the first part of HS, I was quiet and kept my sarcastic, asshole-ish comments to myself and was viewed as quite the introvert. Then I figured out that my sarcastic, asshole-ish comments entertained a few people, so I said them out loud and became known fondly as the sarcastic asshole. ;)

Average kid in highschool. Had friends, but not tons. Wasn't really popular, nor was I a loner/outcast. I was pretty shy when it came to talking in class discussions or socializing with people I didn't know at lunch, etc. I regret not being more social in high school.
Now I have a decent job but still lacking social department, I need to get out more.

Yup. That's me.

Pretty much me too. I was the president of a small club if that counts for anything.

Played alto sax in the HS band, and was on pretty good terms with everyone in the band. Played football to avoid marching with the band. After I unintentionally grew attached to football and actually got to start, I got in pretty good with most everyone on the team.

I had my own little group of friends and we threw some pretty cool parties that people from all the various cliques in my school attended. I guess my group and I weren't really looked down on by anyone in my school, but we weren't part of any of the other well defined groups (geeks, preps, jocks, etc) either.

Now everyone's gone their separate ways and I'm pretty low in the friends dept...but I still feel cool. That's all that count right?

I know lots of people but I am very selective about who my real friends are. Mostly I'm to judgmental to bother to get to know most people I deem to be below me.

1) Still a nerd.
2) I am sleeping with girls now who wouldn't have given me the time of day back then.

I was the kid that everyone asked if I could help them with their homework. What they never knew, was that I was at the school doing mine before the teachers arrived ;)

I got to school at least an hour early to finish all my work.

i was one of popular basketball players and the only asian on the team. girls were gunning for us but i only had a girlfriend which i thought was enough for me. so i got to be a mack daddy.

i was so much cool back then and i realized it's disgusting because in the past, i had my pants so baggy so that people could see my boxers as well as ass. today, i say to myself, that's right it's time to pull the pants up. :D

Was semi-popular. More respected than anything, kinda outspoken in High School. Was voted most likely to succeed.

Now finished with college in a few weeks. Got a 5 year degree in 4 years, work in a major inner city trauma hospital emergency room. Still semi-popular with most of my co-workers some don't like me because I'm so driven and because I won't change for them just because they have seniority on me.

Similar personality in high school and college.

Was always the the mellow, black-shirt-blue-jeans guy with the curly Ed Vedder (early 90s) hair who hung out in the parking lot with his best friend, smoking a cigarette and talking about Rock N' Roll - no interest in campus politics and shenanigans. Basically this ultra-nice guy with a heart of gold, a master of crowd-control (my voice helped) and breaking up fights. Almost all the guys in campus respected and loved me like a brother. With the exception of a few, all the girls disliked me or thought I did the 'I'm better than you' routine way too much.

Edit: This is my final semester in college. And I just realized I mostly referred to my college years in the post...in the past tense. Well, I guess it is over. Thank God.

-Quiet, Shy, Smart kid, but many people knew who I was.

-Still pretty quiet, shy, and smart, but I'm hoping to get rid of the first two.

1) Akward Kid. Not down with the nerds, but not with the cool kids.

2) Lots of friends, no problem meeting new ones.

Somewhere between 1 and 2 I grew up.

I was a dork, prick, elitist, self centered, and I think I am smarter than I am. I am captain of the social faux pas, largely because I talk too much.

I still am all of these things, 3 years later.

I dunno... like, B+ list. lol. not quite an A-list superstar on the popularity scale, but I had a lot of friends, went to most of the right parties, and I'd be surprised if there were people who didn't know who I was.

I kinda got over the whole obsessing over getting people to like and/or fear me thing in college. I blame the drugs :p I've lost track of most of my friends from high school when I went away to college and lived in PA for 4 years, but I've still got a really solid group of friends from high school and college. I don't have problems meeting new people or making new friends, but it's not a top concern of mine. I live a pretty comfortable working middle class life as a single guy :)

Well, there were ... me, Trent, Nathan, Joel, Dan, David, Chase, Justin, Will, Andrew, and... that's it. Trent, Nate, Joel and I were more of the computer/technology types, Will sort of did his own kinda punk-like thing, Dave, Dan, and Chase were sort of the sports-guys, Justin was the preppy type, and Andrew was the super sports-fanatic.

Then again, all of us played soccer at some point except Nathan, and most of us played basketball as well. There was really not much distinction. :p

Most of my friends called me brown pretty much all of senior year, never really got old, especially thanks to the UPS commercials :D

I don't think I was ever very popular at all but had a good group of friends and so I didn't ever really feel a lack of friends for the most part. I had a few close friends in HS, it's pretty amazing the different paths people can take after HS.
