How offensive would it be to use "bloody" in every day conversations in the States?

Considering the word is rarely used as an explentive attributive (intensifier) in the States, how would most people react if one was to start using that word. Say, in a quiet public place with many people? At the office?

If you've an accent nobody would care.. if you don't then people might think it is strange but not much else.

I'd think someone was trying to tone down the swears, or imitate a foreigner.

It'd be hard to make a case for getting offended.
