It sounds like the show hosts had access to…. almost everybody?
I mean who pulls Hannity’ strings? Ingram? To message commands to Meadows?
Thats some fucked up shit.

They controlled the narrative more often than not. They said something on air and the orange puppet tweeted about it. Versus him saying something and them parroting it.
This is correct and I am afraid not enough Americans know it.
Donald might be a horrible piece of shit but he's nothing special. He's exactly like all the other dumb ignorant Americans who worship Fox.
Donald did not create Fox News. Fox News created him.

An Aussie named Rupert Murdoch was puppeteering the US orange menace and US presidency for fucking four years?

How many of you voted Rupert for president? Really? That is some FUCKED up shit!
Wonder where else the hooks is in in Congress.

I think it tragically hilarious that those FOX talking heads were all for rabble rousing Trump's base, progressively ratcheting up the inciteful rhetoric, the inflammatory lies and accusations and watching how their propaganda campaign manifested itself into a really nice "peaceful march" to the Capitol and a stirring protest against "The Steal", right up to the point where break-in's started occurring, Capitol security forces were being tased, assaulted, beaten, threatened and killed. And now, and now all of a sudden it wasn't so enjoyable to witness the results of their conspiratorial endeavors and the panic set in.

You think they were individually motivated to call Meadows up? Or were they told.
I am gonna go ahead and assume the latter.

At some point, someone up top probably got a call from a Fox lawyer who might have used big words like "culpable" and "liability". That's the only reason they tried to make it stop. The "no one believes Tucker" defense wasn't going to work this time.

Since they are on the record as involved no reason why that can't be called into the public hearings and questioned on why their urgency of that moment didn't match their on air rhetoric.
To what purpose? They can’t be held liable for lying or repeating the stop the steal propaganda. If it was a GOP lead committee, yeah they’ll drag liberal media in just for sound bites. But bringing in a bunch of talking heads won’t add to the mountain of evidence the committee already collected.

Those talking heads have more political influence than most legislators.

How about outing the lies? They will be under oath. Why were you downplaying the insurrection following your urgent pleas to Trump for calling off the dogs?

How about exposing to the world Fox News is just a propaganda machine?

And what @soundforbjt said. Time to blunt their political power. Why the fuck should Sean Hannity wield as much political power as a sitting member of Congress? Imagine if Obama was taking calls directly from Rachel Maddow? What would the righties do?

For this Jan 6 select committee, they really have nothing to offer. But if there’s a future committee looking at political influence by the media, then yes they should be at the top of the list

In reality not that many people do, but they still have massive influence on the overall narrative.
FOX News is the most watched Cable TV news channel in the nation.

I actually think it would be a good thing. It would be symbolic for the most part but would send a message that blatant propaganda/disinformation is not tolerated in a way.

Grill them under oath every chance you get. Have all their on-air clips ready to go during the hearings.

It would get the public's attention and we need that for the entire body of work to get out to everyone. A show is needed, and this would give it to them.

Pull a McCarthy on him. Accuse the cock sucker of being UnAmerican and force him to a congressional hearing. WHEN he lies, you can use it as an excuse to press charges.
