$0.

Car has been paid off for awhile, I have no credit cards, and I'm renting. My credit is screwed though from when I got over my head with CC debt back when I was younger.

maybe $2K, but that'll be paid off in two months.

$1.5K is from my laptop (bought it last week), and the other $500 is just misc. credit card expenses (gas, books, emergency computer repair parts, etc).

Well first of all, all the inquiries from applying for credit cards will hurt. Also with how much you have out in loans compared to how much your income is.

Ahhh, thanks...well no wonder. LOL :)

About $12k on my '03 Acura TL Stype. Paid cash on my '01 Lightning, house was a gift. I guess since it's getting towards the end of the month I probably have another $1000 or so in restaurant and gas bills on the credit card, but I pay that off every month.

EDIT: And Loki, "emergency computer repair parts" ?? You're such an ATer. :p

dude paying your CC bill online takes 2.3 seconds.

Zero debt. Paid cash for the SUV, student loan paid off last year, no credit card debt.

Saving money now for a nice house and maybe a wife in the future.

Where can you get a home for 35K*?

*Assumption that you recently purchased it and you aren't that old if you are comtemplating borrowing money from your parents and working part time in a mall. Heck, my mom borrows money from me to pay her mortgage.

BTW, I'm in for like 275K, but its a technicality since I took over the loan on my mothers house. Not really since I pay it as well, but its easier to swallow that way. Maybe 10K in other misc debts.

I tell myself that its not that bad because technically I am a homeowner. She bailed me out when I was unemployed a few years ago and IMO its time to return the favor while I'm making decent money again. My stepfather bought the house for them, but then he died so that left her with a fairly big debt. Couldn't really think of anything else to do except make her give it up, which really wasn't an option.

Perhaps $35k is just what he has left to pay...

just bought a house, so $210k debt there (value is $265k), vehicle debt $0 (early payoff), CC/LOC debt about $50k every month paid in full though(I use personal credit for work and my personal business).

My business' debt is at about 50k/month in revolving debt that is paid in full every month. Cash flow in it is about $100k/month or higher, so it's ok.

:) About $350 in CC debt (down from $32k in the last 3 months, $0 in student loans (down from $6.5K in the last 4 months), New Harley in the past month...paid cash...

Just owe enough to keep my credit in good shape. I try to pay it off each month, too. (My interest rate reflects 0.0%...so that must mean I do a good job with revolving credit...)

My biggest expense is funding my retirement and saving for my kids college education...and of course my nasty habit...computers...

a) no cars
b) no credit cards

d) Gic's plus Stock portfolios: $5800.

So i guess i'm in the black $5800, not including the moeny i will spend on living over the next year.

House - Paid for
3 cars - Paid for
21 ft ski boat - Paid for

12k in student loans my wife took out before we got married. Currently paying on those

Only credit card debt we have is what we use monthly on our gas cards. Pay them off every month.
