How much do you speed?

7-8 mph on the highway for long distance travel. Faster than the limit so I dont impose on traffic, but slow enough so I dont get pulled over. (Not that it matters to me much, but getting pulled over is a good 5-10 minutes of your time gone.)

Honestly, I drive DC to Baltimore once or twice a day during the week. Im always driving somewhere, either to class or work. So, Im usually speeding because I dont want to spend anymore time on the road than I have to. I usually go about 80-90 on I-95, the speed limit is 55.

It is?!~?

Jesus, I was doing 110 on I-95 yesterday.

Depends on the car. Mine, 24mpg with the limit, 28mpg with the foot.

Average 90mph in a 65mph on my way to Chicago. Its been slower lately as they've been stepping up patrols on I-55, but still not bad. I have no idea how fast I could really go... I've gotten up to 110mph on I-80, but remembered I was in Cook County and didn't want to go to PMITA prison.

No tickets either **knocks on wood** but I'm always watching and have a decent radar detector.

70MPH limit I go 80MPH.

90MPH is not uncommon but the car SUCKS petrol like a mofo at 90MPH 🙁

speeding isn't really worth it....if you do 85 in a 65 and get a ticket, what would you have saved time wise? 6 minutes? what a waste. speeding is NOT cool. It's for losers, winners stay near the speed limit and think of others.

I honestly can't say I'm endangering anyone with my speeding. I drive on open roads and my car is more than capable of the speeds I drive.

I am in Canada, in the 90 zones I usually go 140. It does of course depend on the speed limits but on average I probably drive about 50% faster than the posted limits, not many people that go the posted limit.

yeah, It really doesn't matter too much with my car. something like 28-29 at 70

and 26-27 at 90-100.

today's modern cruisers can really fly without much worry about mileage impact.

rarely more than 5-8mhp over, unless in a 70MPH zone, then I might push it to 80. Around here, even if you're driving 8MPH over in a 65, you'll still have people tailgating inches off your bumper.

65mph limit, typically 75-80 -- depends on the speed of traffic..if everyone's doing 85, I'll be following.

I normally don't need to speed in my area; going the limit on the highway still has me passing people. If I do need to kick ahead of somebody, it's never more than an extra 5.
