How much do you speed?

Normal freeway driving: 65-85mph in traffic, conditions permitting. If the roads are empty, I will go 85-100mph.

..very little. I let em all blow by me. Then see em at the stop light or sig. On the open road I stay wit the limit. Get better gas mileage. see more.

I usually sit on 115km/h in a 100km/h zone and 125km/h in a 110km/h zone.....around town in 50 and 60 zones...don't ask

Highways and whatnot, I usuly go 4 - 5 over the limit. Backroads to work and etc i'll go 10 - 20 over the limit.

I do about 10 over on the interstates now. I'm getting an expensive radar detector when I graduate, so I'll probably do more like 15-18 over once I get that.

Back in the summer I was driving about 90 miles+ a day (and had been for a few years.) Everytime I got on the highway I did 80.

Now I live a mile away from work and I only have to get on the highway once a week or so... and I drive the limit.

I guess I mostly sped because I was tired of losing 2 hours of every day simply going from school to home and dumb crap like that. Now I have two spare hours to nef and tell people who post "OMG COP IS A JERK (I might have been speeding, any way out of ticket?)" threads to STFU. 😉

The higher the limit is, the higher over it I go... but I'm not too much of a speeder.

Around Atlanta the speed limit is often 55mph but there's no shortage of people going 80+.

I've never gotten a ticket or speeding warning.

Normally 7-8 unless the rest of the traffic is going faster than that, I'll at least keep up with the flow. But around here, (Milwaukee) if it's 55, msot people go 62ish. If it's 65, most people seem to go more like 70-71,

10-20 mph depends on the time of day and how im feeling. watch out if im pissed im what they call an agressive driver 😛

For highway driving, the limit is 70, depending on the area, i will drive about 80. But if I am in a place where there is no place really for cops to be hiding, a little closer to 90. No tickets yet, but I'm only 17, going to be 18 in about 17 days!! =D

When I used to drive on the highways, the Mass cops generally let you get away with up to 15 mph over the limit. So you could usually do 80 and not fear getting a ticket. I usually stuck around 77 or so, just to be a little more cautious. Never got a ticket on the highways, only some dumbass local cop on a backroad nabbed me for doing 38 in a 30.

Highway driving, I go the speed of traffic in the left lane usually.

During my commute home from work, approx 40 to 55 miles per hour less then the speed limit, depending on if it's a "stop" or a "go" momment.
When the road is more open, usually 20 to 40 over. Just about everyone does 80 to 90 in the 55 zones here, and about the same speed in the 65 zones as well.

damn laser.

Damn, Kentucky uses laser? Boo!

Yep. And I'm seeing more of them out there.

Get an active jammer or deflector.

Although it's illegal and will probably get you arrested... still worth the risk =)

I don't think laser jammers (if they exist) would be illegal. The reason radar jammers are illegal is because you can't broadcast radio signals without an FCC license.

say you have a 30 mile commute:

Speed Minutes
55 32.72
65 27.69
75 24
85 21.17
95 18.94
105 17.14

speeding isn't really worth it....if you do 85 in a 65 and get a ticket, what would you have saved time wise? 6 minutes? what a waste. speeding is NOT cool. It's for losers, winners stay near the speed limit and think of others.
