How much do you speed?

I'm talking about highway driving.

I usually keep myself about 10 above the limit. Still haven't gotten a ticket but I guess I'm living on the edge.

20+ MPH.

Expensive cars are worthless otherwise.

I know where the cops usually are near my home, so I just slow down in those areas. I have yet to get a kicket.

if its 35 i generally drive 35-40
if 55 i deive 60-65
if 65 on the highway i drive 70-80 depending on the area im in

I don't go above 5mph over the posted, since legally you can. like, if the posted is 65, I'll keep it somewhere between 65 and 70, usually around midway between

Highway is all you are counting?

In that instance, I go with traffic. Limit 55, traffic is around 70 slow lane 80 fast lane. I am usually in the fast lane.

~6 over is the safest speed, IIRC what that traffic engineer said. But I usually go around 8 over. I don't usually go more than 10 over.

Depends on what the rest of traffic is like...I don't like being the guy that's 10+ faster than everyone else. Local roads, I'm usually 5-8 over...on a 70MPH strip I'll be 80MPH...I used to cruise at 90, but that was more stressful than I liked since Detroit likes moving its cops all over the place.

I make sure to go faster than the speed limit, but to go slower than the guy who is hauling ass. That way, hopefully the attention is drawn towards the guy going too fast, and not me. I am not sure if this works or not. The one time I got a ticket, I was the only guy on the road. If there would have been a substantial amount of traffic, I am sure it would be a different story.

Honestly, I drive DC to Baltimore once or twice a day during the week. Im always driving somewhere, either to class or work. So, Im usually speeding because I dont want to spend anymore time on the road than I have to. I usually go about 80-90 on I-95, the speed limit is 55.

Speed limit is 65 out here. I drive 80 unless traffic prevents me from doing so. There are some stretches where I bring it up to 90, but that is not consistant.

I honestly drive as fast as I safely can. I exceed 100mph almost every day on my commute (speed limit 60mph.) I usually go 50mph in 30mph zones. I go 60mph in 40mph zones. I get tickets a few times a year, but speed every day. I have a ticket in my glovebox right now for 54 in a 40. I need to take it down to my traffic attorney to get it taken care of.

I take it easy on local streets, seldom exceeding 7-8 miles over & often at or below the limit, but on the highway I drive as fast as conditions allow me to without excessive weaving.
