Why are you getting a lawyer?

I think my Visa is at $447 right now (about $275usd?)... paying it off. Have a $500 limit so I'm not really worried, plus I've learned my lesson about credit cards now. :)

No CC debt and no auto loan debt. I like to pay off my balances every month and the last car I bought in 2001 I paid cash in hand.

do you have anything to show for it? that eases the pain a little

I owe zilch, $0.00. I have no debts, not even student loan, thanks to some discipline.

I'm scared I'll end up owing when I get hit with the expensive grad/law school bills, but I'm trying my best to rack up grants, public interest scholarship programs and all. But then again, I see myself making a lot soon, so those debts will be taken care of. :D

Yup, I can attest to that!!!

I work as a chemist and. . . yeah.

I am about twice of an average person; if that makes any sense.

If I add up credit card debt, student loan, car loan well lest just say it is a lot of significant figures.

Currently $21,356.72, gotta love the 0% apr intro rate. Will be down to $0 once interest rate goes back to normal.

A little under $94,000.
I make $16,000 a year, but I figure it should only take me 118 years to pay it off.

Maybe for a mortgage? However, sometimes lawyer's fees are incorporated into your mortgage if you so wish. If they are separate then a conveyance (basic) can run anywhere from ~ 200-700 bucks (ballpark).

Including all five of my credit cards, Dell account & Gas card, $0.00 The only money I owe on anything is about $4,000 in student loans that I don't have to make another payment on till 2005. Debt wise things are great, financially wise, things could be better, been unemployed since November.
