How much cash have you ever held in your hands?

I held something like 15 pounds of pot once. It was bricked and stacked. It was about 4 feet tall, I felt like i was carrying a load of towels, folded and fresh out the dryer.

Anyways, I'm no longer mixed up in that stuff.

three hundred and fifty dollars in bills... or 140,000 or so in treasury bonds... but they were on the table in front of me... i couldnt carry them all at once

$19,000 USD cash when i finally convinced my mom that under the mattress was not the best place to keep money.

~$14k, deposits for the store I worked in. No one bothered to go to the bank when I took a few days off. 😕

How much would that be in cash though, assuming it was all sold?

Anything over 3K will be reported to the FaBI guys and those IRS biotches.

My "uncle" lou (who isn't really my uncle, but is the guy who raised my step father after my stepdads dad died when he was 2) is disgustingly loaded. He inherited several thousand acres of farmland from his parents, and that area ended up developing into one of the nicest areas in southern illinois. So yea he made a lot, I stress alot, of money over time as that happened. Since he is now worth almost a billion, he has quite a bit of stuff in his basement vault. He has over 10 million in rare guns on his carpet in the basement, and in his vault, he has quite a bit of cash. I think over 5 million or something like that. It sits on a shelf in $100 dollar bills, along with chunks of gold, jewelry, diamonds, bonds, etc. Its a pretty disgusting site. Its an air controlled room, and the walls are something like 5 feet thick. It even has a key code and palm scanner to get in.
If you're not "fibbing" that sounds pretty damn neat 🙂

not fibbing.

and i think the pot I was holding was worth 2.5g's per pound. It was some good stuff. I grew up in a shotty neighborhood, and thats the kind of stuff I grew up with. I'm away from that now, so yall dont flame me. I do smoke everyonce in a while, but I won't be caught dead buying or sellling it. to much to loose. If I ever get the good stuff, someone will bring it over (small amount) and leave me a treat on my night stand. =)

I worked for a bank when I was 18-21, and for a while in the vault of the main branch as the coin counter.

It was also my job to load up moneys to be sent out to retailers. I dunno maybe $1,000,000.

Be it yours or not. 300K in a suitcase.

Don't ask.
Now, what exactly is the point of starting a thread like this and stating a number like that and then saying "don't ask"!?

Fine. Eleventy Billion... In a Dump Truck... Nothing but Net... Don't ask...

Whoa I never knew that. You're saying that if I ever deposit money to my bank that is more than 3K, they'll make a note of it to the FBI? And oh yea, do they have any rights to ask me where did i get my money? I mean it's my business right? Do you have to answer them? I think that's bullshited when they ask you where you get the money. Is that true?

by law it's 10k, but many banks have a lower limit. do NOT make a joke about robbing a store, or drugs in this day and age. some idiot tellers WILL note that on the report.

Used to work for Best Buy as a CS Supe. Had lots of cash around the CHristmas time every night when we counted down the drawers.

when i run to the bank for my dads business... about $20k+... I feel weird shoving in wads of cash to coming from my bookbag... makes me look like im some dealer lol...

Cash? Not much actually. Maybe 1k or something? Check? 2 million. It was a settlement check that I deposited when I used to work at a Law Firm. I have no clue why they wouldn't do a wire or EFT...

About $2,500! I lost everything! Ugh! The strangest part was, I didn't even freak out when I realised that I had lost it. I would normally have been upset, but I wasn't at all. Maybe I just suspected that someone in my family took it, so it was safe. Or perhaps I just didn't realise the value 'cuz I felt too rich with the little I had left. *Sigh!* 😱 😛

Since the incident, I barely carry any cash with me. It's kind of a bad thing. . . .
