$1.2B (yes billion) in non-negocitable bonds in my vehicle. Delivering them to the bank.

Cash, over $1M.

I used to drive an armor truck.
 
About $1950, give or take a few, on the day I bought my car.

I was shopping for either a good $2000 used car, or I was going to buy a more expensive one at a dealership. I had cash in my pocket because I wanted to be ready to buy from a private party in case I found a good one for $2000. I ended up at a dealership instead and gave them the cash for my down payment.
 
My "uncle" lou (who isn't really my uncle, but is the guy who raised my step father after my stepdads dad died when he was 2) is disgustingly loaded. He inherited several thousand acres of farmland from his parents, and that area ended up developing into one of the nicest areas in southern illinois. So yea he made a lot, I stress alot, of money over time as that happened. Since he is now worth almost a billion, he has quite a bit of stuff in his basement vault. He has over 10 million in rare guns on his carpet in the basement, and in his vault, he has quite a bit of cash. I think over 5 million or something like that. It sits on a shelf in $100 dollar bills, along with chunks of gold, jewelry, diamonds, bonds, etc. Its a pretty disgusting site. Its an air controlled room, and the walls are something like 5 feet thick. It even has a key code and palm scanner to get in.

if tomorrow night i match 5 numbers plus the mega, ill have a check for $29 million before taxes in my hand in the near future. 😀

I million in $100's isn't as much as you would think. I think it's about a foot tall if you could stack them percetly. Not sure the most I every held. It was wan envelope of 100's my mother gave me to hold, and it was jam packed. I figure around $15k.
 
going to the bank to deposit 9k in 20s from working for several months at my 1st part time job.

being a kid with no bills, rent or responsibilities & 9 grand in your account felt really good. haven't felt like that since.
 
$10,000 sometime in grade school when I did some weird program with a bank. And yes, it was cash. Check, I think somewhere around $1000000 (school).

Interned for a jewelry store in a small town when I was in high school. They had me carry it a few blocks away to a bank (it was noon, broad daylight, everything went fine).
 
what is the bottom line the fbi uses when tracking transactions? anything over 2g or something? this was several years back, maybe i have a secret government file somewhere.
