Age: 18, freshman in college. I have no CC.

Get one. Use it. Pay it in full every month. My wife made the mistake of not building a credit history early.

Agreed. My wife is very thrifty and saves money very well, but she didn't have much of a credit history otherwise, so my credit history is quite a bit better.

1) $0

2) About $103,000 left on the mortgage. Always put 20% down if possible to avoid PMI :) Vehicles are paid for as well as schooling. You don't have to sacrifice everything to retire well, but you should certainly plan for the lifestyle you want to live once you get to retirement age ASAP.

My age is 27.

About 20 grand in car loans. I could probably pay that off if I really wanted to, but I don't want to blow my emergency fund.

$98,000 left on my mortgage (which I have on the market since we're relocating up north)
$14,000 left on my Durango
$15,000 left on my wife's Focus
$0 on my student loans (just paid them off, thanks Dad!)
$31,000 on my wife's student loans (in deferment until June, since she just graduated in December)
$20,000 in CC debt between me and my wife's CCs & credit accounts (a quarter of that will be gone in the next 7 days when our tax return arrives :))

Only the amount of my last credit card bill, which gets paid off each month. It's $742.56, which is about the last months gas, food and some DVD's I bought.
Both cars, which were bought on 5 year notes 2 years ago, got paid off in October. :)

i cant believe how low everyone's mortgage's are.... i'm looking to buy a place now, and even the cheapest Condo's around here are STARTING at $200...

so, within the next couple months between cars, student loans, and a place to live,-- i'll be looking at between $250k and $350k.. :(

I wonder how many of you with 0 total debt are living in an apartment?

Me:
1) I currently owe $600 on my credit card.
2) I owe $300000+ on my mortgage.

CC: About $1700 now, quickly dropping. By the beginning (or at very worst, end) of this summer I hope to be down to $0.

Everything: $1700. No mortgage or student loans yet, though I expect to take out a loan for graduate school.

Current Account: 0
Mortgage: 115K (my share)

I used to have a Current Accout debt around 5K, but worked hard to get rid it. I feel much more comfortable without debt. Still have a hard time saving up though. That's my next step to succes. :D
