When you shop online, how often/how many times do you check the "track your shipment" screen?

Are you like me - the kind of person they just shouldn't give tracking info to because I obsess over where it is and use Google Maps to estimate when it will arrive at my depot?

Depends on the item and how long it is suppose to take. Most stuff I'll check it 1-3 times, stuff I really can't wait for I keep the tracking open in a tab lol :(

Once shipped I check everytime I think the item should have reached another mile stone. In other words, obsessively.

Depends what it is and where it's from. For example, with Amazon (Prime) I pretty much know exactly when my shipments will arrive. For everything else, I use syncing service (Delivery Status) on my phone and computer which tracks multiple shipments and notifies me when the status has been updated. So I'm pretty much constantly aware of where things are.

Too fucking much. Wish the trucks had live GPS on them... But now that I have everything delivered to work I know that UPS and FedEx will be here around 10:30 every day.

Are you referring to "Google Now" if so, how TF have you gotten that to work. I always have some sort of package tracking going on in my email and or searching on my phone and Google NOW never realizes that I'm waiting on a package.

Only when its something I really am excited about receiving, say fissionable materials.

depends really... if it is something i am getting, then it scales with my level of excitement about said item.

if it is a gift i am sending to someone, constantly until i know they got it.

I check even after it's delivered to me - just to be sure it was delivered.

LOL I do this too. I like to see the exact time it was delivered. I also like to see what the delivery driver writes. Sometimes it will say "Porch" or "Front Door" or if I'm outside and meet him halfway it will say "Met Customer Man" on the tracking page. :p

Seems to be hit and miss for me. Google now has been able to pull tracking info from amazon and eBay, but I've never had it work for new egg or any other online retailers.

I check once, and it's shows the expected delivery date. No need to check it again, unless it doesn't arrive that day.
