Maybe twice. Once to see if it's been shipped, and the second time on the day I think it'll be delivered to make sure it's out for delivery.

Are you referring to "Google Now" if so, how TF have you gotten that to work. I always have some sort of package tracking going on in my email and or searching on my phone and Google NOW never realizes that I'm waiting on a package.

Seems to be hit and miss for me. Google now has been able to pull tracking info from amazon and eBay, but I've never had it work for new egg or any other online retailers.

don't anymore. google now does it for me.

Yeah I forgot I had Google now enabled and it tracked my amazon shipment for me...BUT...

I have amazon prime so it ships faster than it can be tracked usually LOL. When I order prime I dont bother to check anymore. It says 2-3 days but it rarely takes more than 1.5

otherwise I check on things about once per day

I often check it and it has shipping info, then I keep checking and it just kinda vanishes somehow, lik "there is no information for this item" and I'm like but there was, where is it...that really gets to me

depends on the item, if it's a towel or chia seeds etc I don't really care when I get it. If it's a video game or computer part I check a few times an hour on delivery day. Amazon prime is simply amazing though, I must be near some hub because I'll order things at 11pm Thurs. and technically I'm due to get it Sat. or usually Mon. as it's 2 business days. Last few items have arrived Friday afternoon.

I have a package passing through Detroitkistan at the moment. That's strike #1. It's shipped with USPS. Strike #2. I'm monitoring the crap outta this thing.

I might track once to see if it'll be early. I get too many packages to be obsessive about it.

My obsessiveness just came in handy. Tracking a shipment from the USA (living in Canada), it hit a customs delay that required my input. Sad thing is that no one called me to inform me, and the only reason I noticed was that I checked 14 times this morning. The first 13 were ok. The 14th was not. [Edit: clearly it is likely that their call-centre had me in some queue somewhere for the call, but I called them before they had the chance to call me.]

So I called, spoke to a very helpful woman at FedEx who e-mialed me the paperwork. Completed, scanned, e-mailed back, and now is clearing customs. Might still be delivered on time, though tomorrow seems more likely.

I never bother to track shipments coz when you do they never seem to reach! just leave them alone and they'll magically appear at your doorstep :)

I would trackshipping only when it was late. Almost every time I would expect a shortest time and if it won' arrive at this time I'll go to track it.
