I loved the 85-87 accords. the styling was great. only thing i hated about it was they were really low to the ground. it was kinda hard getting into the damn thing.

It's my wife's old car (she's driving an '05 CRV SE now.) I miss my truck, but it's hard to complain about the Accord. Great commuter car. Just passed 100k miles and expect to go at least another 100k more.

I have owned two Accords. I had an '84 Accord sedan with 200,000 miles (loved it!) and a '98 Accord EX V-6 sedan that was only a couple of years old (hated that car).

I just bought a 2006 Accord EX V6, 6spd manual and burned through the first tank this weekend...end result...26mpg city and hwy...this is my first Honda, and it's a wolf in sheep's clothing. The manual transmission is noticably quicker than the automatic V6.

A little bird tells me that the 8th gen accord will get a new DOHC V6 making 280 HP, next gen TL gets 3.5L V6 at 320 HP.
