Usually just a sheet. If it gets a little cold I might cover my feet with a light blanket, but that's about it. My wife on the other hand, is usually right next to me covered up like a freaking eskimo.

I still don't understand how people can use so many blankets. I sleep with nothing but boxers, and nothing on top of me and still sweat tons even if its cool in the room. Honestly i feel like if i tried to sleep with several large blankets on my I would be in danger of overheating seriously to the point that my health would be in considerable jeopardy.

hahaha that's me and my bf. i'm wearing wannabe flannel pants, a sweatshirt, one of those big old acryllic blanket things, and i usually try to get the comforter too, but my bf takes that and i wind up with just the acryllic blanket. i'm still cold! and i'm in california!

Last year (two years ago?) my parents had an exchange high school student from Venezuela. We live in Michigan. When I went home for Christmas break, I stayed in my old room in the basement; he was in the spare down there.

I realized he was sleeping with his winter jacket on! I asked him if he wanted some more blankets and gave him some. Then he showed my the thermometer in his room - it was reading 50 degrees (F, that is).

I usually had about 4-5 blankets on.

I like the blanket pile as well, but it has to be cool to sleep well for me. My freakin' school apartment sends all the heat up to the roof like nothin' doing, and I'm on the top bunk on the top floor, so it's probably 70++ up there even with the thermostat downstairs at 65. Really annoying; my mouth and eyes are dry every morning.

Im the type of person that likes alot, but for the room to be cold. My wife, prefers it to be warm in the house, and only use one blanket. Kind of a fight... no biggie tho, i just turn the fan on, and get under an extra blanket.

I dont sleep that well anyways, probably because i dont take care of myself. I dont get my exercise that i should. I work all the time, and im going to school full time at night. Then, i have a 19 month old, that is workin on me losin weight by me trying to keep up with him.

sheet
blanket
comforter

i usually end up throwing the comforter off because i get too hot. i sleep with a ceiling fan on also. thats set to medium speed lately.

aparently 33  😉 but honestly, two comforters a sheet and a smaller fleece blanket in the cooler months
