I have seen it stated a number of times on this forum that Mr Obama is destroying or trying to destroy the US.

Can someone please explain to me, with examples, how he is trying to destroy the US?

Judging from your previous posts, you and others are not genuinely interested in an answer to the question. Instead, you are waiting for some to take the bait so you can brand them "tea baggers", "neocon Bush lovers", "inbred Southern gun-toting hicks", etc.

The reason why many people think this way has been explained a million times over in just about every P&N thread. You're just looking to stir the pot.

Soaring deficit, 350 billion bank bailout, GM bailout, cash for toyotas, 800 billion pork bill, promoting unions, coddling insurance companies, winning the Nobel Peace Prize without doing anything, continuing the war in Afghanistan, promoting "immigration reform" code for giving illegals citizenship, extending unemployment benefits, increasing food stamps, increasing wages of government workers, worrying more about don't ask don't tell rather than jobs, stepping in stride with the AMA and make American business less competitive.

Thats just a small list. He has obviously done way more to harm the country.

Take over of private industry, chavez style
War on banks and the direct stifling of the economy because of it
Attempted take over of healthcare, still pushing against the will of the people
Surrounding himself with marxists/radicals and appointing them to powerful positions/judgeships
Wealth redistribution

All of these are very destructive to what America stands for. He wasn't kidding when he said he wants to fundamentally change America, and the only way to do that is to destroy it and rebuild.

When there is a liberal activist in the white house who is bound and determined to change our government to fit his idealogy... that can be viewed as destroying our nation.

Having a 1+ trillion dollar deficit forecast for the next 10 years to pay for it all... can also be also be construed as destroying our nation.

Now the blame is not fully on obama. It is the U.S. government repub and dem administrations alike... that destroy this country through personal agendas. obama seems to be accelerating it.

Nope, I not trying to score points or make anyone look bad. If you think Mr Obama is destroying to or is trying to destroy the US I would like to understand your reasoning. I do not expect everyone to agree with me.

I have questioned the motivation of the Tea Bag group. I have asked where were they during the GWB and Reagan years.

I am skeptical of your neutrality in the matter, because I have seen (and participated in) many of your other threads that were posed as non-partisan questions, but which quickly revealed themselves to be extremely loaded questions.

That issue aside, a thread of this nature is only going to cause a flame war between the right and the left. It is inevitable. Then again, what thread here on P&N doesn't cause a flame war to break out? :p

Yes you are, because threads like these attract the liberal sheeple like flies on shit (sorry for the cliche). No one can feel good about the spending that congress and this administration is doing... well a few hear who listen to the white house.

Look at the way healthcare reform was handled. A majority of Americans did not want what obama proposed. Yet congress and the white house negotiated behind closed doors trying to get a crap bill passed.

Some people will still lick dubyas boots if he asked.. people like you are not going to see the truth because you are blinded by obamas halo.

Mr Reagan has done more to change our government to fit his idealogy than any other POTUS in the last 50 years.

there ya go... proving them right again...

bo is destroying the country by becoming the archetype for the fallacy that saying something is somehow equivalent to doing something... his position as sayer-in-chief brings the peter principle to its pinnacle... his incompetence as a world level politician is the peak of the resume inflation that is rife in america...

but maybe, as with textbook capitalism, this is creative destruction and a whole new wonderful world blossoms out of this...

Obama is nothing but a reflection of the Liberals/Democrats/Heathens and Progressives that voted for him.

They are the real enemies of America.

I know, just think how disenfranchised you'll feel as a minority white male in about 30 years.
