How fast was this Corvette going?!!

If the driver of the filming car is going ~150kph, why is the video entitled "That other guy had to be going at least 161kph" - sarcasm I assume.
 
Since you were going about 90 mph I would guess he was between 130-150 mph. What was the speed limit on that road? FWIW, the fastest I ever drove was 139 mph in my 85 vette and that was the ONLY time I ever had it over 100 mph.

I removed the 133mph speed limiter on my 06LS when I flashed it with an SCT X3, but haven't had the testicular fortitude to go that high yet 😱

Yeah, I was thinking 50-60mph faster than the filming car.

I took my old Eclipse turbo up to an indicated 135mph once but that was for a very short stretch and there were no cars within a visible distance ahead of me. I've probably only been over 90mph a few times since. I've tended to enjoy the acceleration more than the speed.

Um, that was on the autobahn in an unrestricted section. What he was doing was perfectly legal. I know cause I've seen that video elsewhere when the z06 Corvettes came out.

According to what my GPS logged, I had my GTO up to 145mph. Fifth gear was really close to running out so I backed off.

Wrong, it's a public road not some personal race track. Going that fast on a 2 lane road like that with slower traffic is irresponsible and dangerous. What happens if a medium sized animal wanders onto the roadway?

There are just too many unkown variables to safely travel at that speed on a public road like that.
