If, as you say, you really were arrested for something you didn't do, don't you think it'd be much more productive to find a lawyer and pursue civil action against the arresting officer(s) rather than to insult some random cop? I'd imagine it'd be much more satisfying for you to have the officer that pissed you off out of a job rather than looking for a way to book you again.
I've had police officers that were beyond-a$$holish to both myself and friends, but I don't apply that to officers in general, as I've met more than enough respectable ones. It's just like with anything else in life: the few "bad apples" stand out much more than the larger number of decent people out there.
If you read the thread you might have noticed that they pick on people who cant defend themselves. I dont have the cash right now to fight it.
Things are changing though.
Want to know what happened, even though people will still sit here and talk ******.. which is why its pointless to even post it
I had been drinkign with a friend of mine, and there was a house party across campus I wanted to go too, but within walking distance even though it was freezing.
So we decide to walk to the house, and came to a dirt area.. there was no gate, no signs and no noticable construction.. we get thru the dirt area and 12 cops surround us yelling at us to get on the ground.
I put my hands up and start to get down, so does my friend and they run towards us.. grab us and smash us on the concrete.. cutting open my face and resulting in a headache for a day afterwards.
They tazed my friend as well, then they accused us criminal trespassing and accused us of dropping drugs as well as evading the police.
They couldnt find any drugs so they only charged us with the rest of it, we were lucky we didnt get public intox but I wouldnt know why (we were totally and 100% in control of our facilities).
Spent the night in jail. Hey live and learn right? I'll be watching my step from now on and I'm not sure what to do next time, drink and drive or walk?
We were 100% respectful to them, like I said we called them Sir and did what we were told even after having stitches put into my chin from my face hitting the concrete.
At the time they made me feel like trash. But now I'm fairly pissed about it.
I used to doubt the police beat on black people, I dont doubt it a bit now. They will do whatever the hell they want to do, and I am going to financially support organizations that fight against law enforcement who abuse their power, probably for the rest of my life.
They made an enemy here.
Judge me if you want too, but it was fvcking bullshit and I cant WAIT until it happens to most of you or something worse hopefully. I personally would take on any of those cops man to man, while I respected them there was no fear in my eyes from them being men.
All these armchair quarterbacks bashing me can seriously eat my ass.[/quote]
Seems to me you are now aquanted with the real world. Now imagine this happening on a regular basis.
Welome to the world of those who live in the Barrio or Ghetto.
Campus Police, while real Police Authorities, are not the regular Police. They aren't worth the time , effort and consequences of yo9u getting even if it's just a verbal rant. If they were competent and worthy do you think they'd be workiong for chicken scratch policing a bunch or drunk College Students?
