So why does homosexuality exist?
Well, when the woman becomes pregnant she starts to produce a progestin called nandrolone (also know as the steroid Deca Durabol) which is an androgen, this happens every single time, except for some times.
That is the closest correlation that has been found to date but it's far from conclusive, my best guess is that since it occurs in all of the more intelligent species it is indeed an evolutionary trait that may have some benefit in the mother or the father of a gay child.
Look at the spartans, ALL of them only used their women for procreation but used young boys for sex and training.
Were the lot of them gay? According to todays popular definition it has to do with sex but in reality it has more to do with attraction, from what i know.
That could mean any number of things but i really don't give a shit, i find evolution as a whole much more fascinating than trying to figure out every little detail, it's like having a bunch of kids running around you asking you questions all day long.
