How do you make decisions?

Good idea thanks! 😛 I made my decision by realizing the fact that there are negatives to every choice 🙂 I just sucked up the fact that I'll have lung cancer 10 years from now 🙁

It's not too late to make a good decision in your life. There's is always a chance 🙂

The key to making decisions is understanding:

1. The more options you have, the more you will worry about doing the wrong thing.

If there were only two brands of soap, you'd try both, and know that the one you picked is the best one for you. When there are 50 brands, you are never sure.

2. Accept that there is almost never "one best choice".

Most life decisions are tradeoffs of various pros and cons. It's not as though we are faced with decisions like "You can either have a great job and be married to a supermodel, or live next door to a meth lab while having your identity stolen by Romanians. What would you prefer?" We don't know exactly what we're getting into ahead of time. So just accept that there is no perfect answer, look at things as objectively as possible, then choose a option and move ahead with confidence you did the best you could.

This is an awesome response. Thanks. The only reason holding me back from moving to the new place is, even though its PERFECT, its right near a highway, and I don't want lung cancer. But I'll move there for a year, and if the smog is too much, I'll move elsewhere. 🙂

Dude...It's NEW JERSEY. It is 220 miles from High Point to Cape May. You cannot be anywhere in NJ and be more than 3 hours' drive from anywhere else in NJ. I's not like you are trying to decide between El Paso and Houston.

Just pick whichever place you like the best and drive to the other places when you want. In my experience, the place you currently live always seems boring. Because you live there. It's ordinary.
