Where the hell is the 'warm' option?

It should be cooked slightly, but still quite chewy. If you cook it until it breaks upon being touched, you suck. Sorry.

Bacon should not be crispy, and steak should not be well done.

Omfg. Bacon. My favorite "food."

I like it when it's on the cripsy side, but still a bit pliable. It should not turn into dust when touched. :(

Floppy Soft Bacon = Limey Gross Habits! Everytime i leave the states and hit up the breakfast at a hotel... soft floppy, chewy, undercooked bacon... i'm not saying it has to be super crispy, but i AM saying i shouldn't have to bite down and pull to get a bit >_< Please don't equate Steaks to Bacon... seriously, the thickness alone should tell you why. btw i like my steak medium rare, but my bacon crispy.

Okay, not 'rubbery', but it should have some texture to it. This is difficult to describe. But "cooked" doesn't really explain much in the poll options.

12 minutes at 325F in a convectional oven makes it the way I like it... but that's not very helpful if you don't cook bacon in a convectional oven :p

My latest grilling endeavor involving bacon

Pork tenderloin brined for a day and wrapped in bacon. Mmmm. I forgot to take pictures of the finished product because I was busy eating it.

indeed

i dont eat much bacon though, flavored fat is mostly what it is. occassionally ill have some on a burger, or a breakfast biscuit/sandwhich/bagle but not often

I was just wondering because I hate when I get a sandwich and the bacon is all crispy and dried. It's like having a flavored cracker or something. I'm not sure how to call it when it cooked, but not all crispy, soft or chewy doesn't seem to particularly fit well.

I like my bacon on someone else's plate. It is poison (fat and salt).

Bacon is far less harmful than most of the processed crap Americans eat so much of. But I digress.

Not saying you fall into that category, so if you don't, no offense intended to you.

I like my bacon so crispy, you can hold it parallel to the table from one end without it bending.

Crispy, just short of being burnt. Good bacon should hold straight when held horizontally at the end.
