How do you like your bacon?

I was just wondering because I hate when I get a sandwich and the bacon is all crispy and dried. It's like having a flavored cracker or something. I'm not sure how to call it when it cooked, but not all crispy, soft or chewy doesn't seem to particularly fit well.

CRISPY! I like it to crunch then melt on my tongue...mmm...bacon.

Actually, I also like it a little chewy too...hell, bacon any way is good! Usually, I'll make 2 batches. A couple super crispy strips and a chewy strips (gf likes it that way anyways).

Bacon that is black and crispy is gross, but it shouldn't be too chewy either. There's that magical point to where you cook it, in that it's right between the two extremes, where it's perfect.

Depends on the use. If I am making bacon queseda's (sp?) then I like it just below crispy, but for anything else I like it crispy!

From the What's Eating Gilbert Grape movie:

"And nobody wants greasy <fat woman gasps for breath to finish this long sentence> floppy bacon!"

I like the hear a crunch when I bite into my bacon.

I cook it in the microwave between layers of paper towels. When its done you can snap it like a potato chip. 🙂

Where's the option for "Anyway I can get it"? 😀

any kind of bacon is good. What I don't like about bacon is when the smell gets on someone and then you smell it later, when you aren't in the mood for bacon. For example, if you are at the office and a co-worker walks in smelling of bacon. You can tell what they had for breakfast. Not good.

I like my bacon on someone else's plate. It is poison (fat and salt).

What's even worse is if they're fat and it's hot out...that's not bacon you're smelling!
