Well let's see here...

1) You're saying that whichever side has more numbers is right
2) And that the other side doesn't deserve a voice
3) And that namecalling and lying about what people say are valid debating tactics
4) The whole while completely failing to mention actual issues, such as features, price or sound quality

What does this say about your age, intellect and level of education? I'm not surprised in the least that you're an ipod fan ;)

I don't like the sound level of my PSP. It needs to be louder, IMO. Hopefully a firmware update will address that plus maybe add some decent sound fields if not an EQ. Hopefully if ever such a firmware happens, it'll be on the system and not on the mem card. It's also shameless how Sony tries to ape the ibuds. Both buds need to be tossed. :)

My wife got me an Ipod Mini for Father's Day (it was on my WANT list).
I've had two other MP3 players over the past 4-5 years and fell in love with the Ipod when I finally got around to holding one in my hand a month or so ago.

I was first taken with the sleek design and solid feel. Now that I own one I am enjoying not only the sound, but the very cool way the controls function.

I was leary about using itunes initially, but find it does the job for me.

I enjoy staring at my Ipod about as much as listening to it.

wow...
i'm not reading all of that.

i'm on my third mp3 player. first had a creative movu 128, it was very cool and small but it stopped working just after the warrenty was up, i have no idea why. then i got a digitalway 128 from future shop, it was a piece of crap, frustraing to use and had terrable support with windows.

Now i have an ipod mini 6gb. I got it because there was a special 125 dollers off for getting it with an audible.com subscription. I love it compared to the first two. it is super easy to use and works very well with winamp (i like winamp a hell of a lot better than itunes). I don't knw where people are getting the idea it has sound problems, mine sounds great. and as far as people complaining about the quality loss in changing from wma to mp3, its not that noticable. unless you have a soundcard with pristine A/D converters (RME perhaps?) and phenomenal speaker with great high eq, you probably wouldn't notice at all. Not any more than converting a .wav to an mp3 in the first place. my 0.02
