Besides a blanket pardon for anyone with federal-level possession convictions, he has asked state Governors to do the same for respective state-level convictions.

There will obviously be idiotic (read: GOP) Governors that won't comply with the presidential request, but it puts the ball in their court to turn it down and look like the jackasses they are.

The schedule change for prosecution is huge imho and should have happened a long time ago.
The schedule change is the big one. It's pretty rare for the feds to charge someone with only simple possession of the type that Biden is pardoning so that doesn't do that much to get people out of federal prison. (the state level pardons would do a lot more!)

If it's moved down the schedule to something less insane that could do a lot to help people. Does anyone seriously think weed is more dangerous than meth? Or dilaudid?

Considering i need a prescription for one and not the other shows how the FDA feels on the matter.

I know how I feel about dilaudid as I had it after some surgery about 15 years ago. 1) I have probably never felt better in my life. 2) I would never want people to have easy access to that.
My attending in the hospital almost od'd me on that stuff a few years ago when I told him that the morphine was wearing off after 30 minutes and it was causing some itching to occur.

He laughed, switched me over to 2mg Dilaudid IV and all I know is that I was nodding off every few minutes because it seemed that I was forgetting when or how to breath normally. 😳

Silly brain of mine. 🙄

For me it basically just wiped out my short term memory and made me feel like a million bucks. For some inexplicable reason they let me use my cell phone when I got out of surgery so I dialed basically everyone I knew telling them how great they were and how much I loved them.

This all probably sounds nice but since I was incapable of remembering what happened more than about 30 seconds back I kept repeating myself, calling the same people back over and over, etc. I'm sure I was incredibly annoying but also since I had cancer and had just come out of surgery everyone felt bad about hanging up on me so I tormented them for a while before passing out. Good times, would do again.

I would still vote for Joe Biden, unless Hillary is going to try again.

Secretary Clinton was the smartest and the best prepared for the role of POTUS. She knew the issues, knew the international players and was not full of bullchit gimmicks. And more importantly, Putin genuinely feared her.

I support the Democratic Party and its nominated candidates.

Biden has been much better than I expected. Gotten more shit done in this environment with only 50 senators and two of them being conservative or corrupt.

He just hasn't called out the Republicans as much as he should have. Couple times he said semi-fascist couple things but not nearly enough. And then when he went to Florida he should have not treated DeSantis So well.

Biden left Florida after praising DeSantis and the next day DeSantis is saying how the media was rooting for the hurricane to hit Tampa.

He should have said unlike Ron who voted against aid for Sandy relief the Democrats are going to do the right thing.

Etc... Etc...

The cancer or Dilaudid?

Hopefully not either.

Dilaudid is weaker than Fentanyl. Which was prescribed to me for a time. I would dissuade anyone from taking those, that do not want to be addicted.

If you like corruption and totalitarian style government, keep voting Democrat. I guess some people are looking forward to an extra 87k .
Over what period of time will those 87K IRS employees be hired. At the end of this hiring spree are we expected to have 87K more IRS employees than we have today? Are 10s of thousands of those hires going to be customer service and IT specialists? Are you opposed to making the IRS easier to deal with and more streamlined? Are you parroting right wing talking points?

Only people who have something to hide and are breaking tax laws would have any concern about the hiring of those 87K IRS employees being hired. Honest and legit tax payers have nothing to worry about. The real question to Brandonbull is what is he hiding, or who is he trying to help hide criminal acts? (We all know the answer, all of his conservative representatives, and the ultra rich he warships as they treat him like the shit stain he is.. and he loves it).

I am surprised he doesn't bitch about department stores adding security to catch shoplifters.. I mean, he does seem like the type that is okay with such thievery. "how dare you try to prevent such crimes... It's.. It's... Un American".... at least in Brandonbull's fucked up head.

Sure, vote for Hillary as the Democratic nominee if we want to lose another close election LOL.

Biden and the Democrats have done well the last 2 years. Guiding us out of Covid, passing important legislation, etc...
Inflation would be high regardless who is President. Between greed and issues in the global supply chain it was unavoidable. Cancelling the student loan debt will do more for the economy than one can imagine. The fed has raise rates to much and too fast. You can't go from near 0 to where they are now without the people freaking. Russia's invasion of Ukraine has made things worse.

Create new global economic growth by the US and it's allies making an economic, technologic, and peace pact with China. Military escalation, threats and war have no place in a global economy. Nuclear, biological and chemical weapons banned globally.

Gas prices!!!! Baby food!!!!! And when most likely Repugnicans win back the house and do absolutely nothing but attempt to impeach Biden every other week, these morons will still vote for them in 2024.

I personally will vote against any republican contender just on principle at the moment.
We were talking in the context of a Democratic primary. But hypothetically, Hillary is one of the weaker candidates we could advance to the general election. It's not about who you or I would vote for, it's about what the voters in battleground states would do. So please, let's not go there.
