no i didnt try 400/300....the memory clock wouldn't go higher than 275 in my case....but the core could get up to 415 but i left it at 400.

flashing your 9550 to 9600 is too much of a trouble...you might even end up breaking your 9550...and beside the 9550 is the same rv360 core as the 9600/9600pro/9600xt, just slower....4 pipes.
The game says it supports 9600 and on because probably at launch time, the 9550 didnt exist, it came later to fill in for budget gamers.
