I have an ex wife, a.k.a. my baby's momma (I have full custody though). The song "Sorry Miss Jackson" stuck in my head at the time, hence I'm MisterJackson.

I actually joined back in something like 2001, but my account mysteriously got deleted one day. So I just rejoined with my current sign on date w/ the same name.

I thought about changing it, because people associate it w/ Michael Jackson, and that's not a good thing.

Mmm roasted rabbit!

I actually formed this name a long time ago on IRC when I kind of wanted to form a more unique name. One of the guys in the channel I frequented changed his name to a Japanese name, so I followed suit. Of course I had to pick something that was a personification of myself, so I chose, "The Lover"... although it turns out a better translation is, "The Fan(atic)"

Only annoying thing is when people call me Aiko, which (to my knowledge) is a girl's name in Japan ~_~.

Dont worry Aiko you will get used to it :D

Magic: The Gathering card (stopped playing years ago) but I always liked the name so I choose and register wherever it's available.

I've had the same screen name on AIM for a long time and wanted a new one. I like using transformations of my real name.

Originally, I came up with SilentRuler; because, well, thats what my name translates to in English (it's actually 'Ultimate Silent Ruler of Rulers', but thats if you count my middle name also). After much thought, I felt that was a bit pompous (and plus i don't "rule" at anything) so after more transforming I settled with AmpedSilence.

I wanted my avatar to be a pic of the guy from the painting "The Scream"; but the one i have fits me also.

No, it's not the bridge building game (how fun can a bridge building game be, anyway? lol)

No, it has nothing to do with religion.

No, there is no "L" anywhere in my name, even though everyone loves to add one for some reason - usually right after the "F".

It's the name of an encryption algorithm in the book, Cryptonomicon.
I just liked the way it sounded. I keep thinking about changing it but haven't really come up with anything that I really like.

Schew schew ballmode on.

IT's when a friend rolls into a ball around the house. His mom didn't find it so funny

First choice was taken...

I remembered seeing this on a "Get well" card earlier in the day and I knew it wasn't going to be taken.

Or, what happens when I sit on a jelly donut

Or, what I used to do at work. Heat metal until it was glowing yellow then squish it into a shape.

For my name, I was trying to think up a religious figure to poke fun at (other than Jeebus - overused) and figured a random adjective would complete the name.

Post your stories.

It was a confluence of things ... me being 25% German ... liking Rammstein & their song Feuer Frei ... having a last name derived from frei. I hate coming up with user names and it seemed good at the time. Means "open fire" or, literally, "fire free."
