Is soreness solely a result of working out, or does it also have to do with diet? I want to feel sore, so I know I'm accomplishing something. When I do exercises, I do 3 sets, 10-8-6. I'm not sure I'm hitting the right exercises though. I haven't done much at all of free weights, at least the big ones because I go to the gym solo and don't have a spotter. Any tips? I remember when I went with my more experienced friend once, I was SO sore that evening and the next day, though it was a good soreness. Just so you know I am pretty weak, so I don't think it should be that much of a challenge for me to get sore.
