That is not necessarily true you pile of garbage. Only the very early immigrants here did anything you speak of. My heritage is from Germany and only came here because of World War II, far after America had been established. In fact, I am sure that is how the majority of the people who are here today, arrived here.

2. Are you kidding? I live on a border town to Buffalo. Do you think your immigration policy has no effect on the business here? The Canadian federal, provincial and municipal governments are very much involved, so STFU.

People assume Canada is some tiny little town up somewhere in the Arctic, where they live in igloos and indulge in all the other Canadian stereotypes. There's so much to discover just in this province, let alone the whole country, that I'm actually somewhat glad the Americans assume doesn't exist.
