Discussion How can democracy function when part of the population are acting on non-factual information?

A coworker caught it at a drive through and he barely survived it while hooked to a ventilator at the hospital ICU. One thing he emphasized to me is that he's never fully recovered and hasn't felt the same since contracting it. If someone gets it and doesn't have a bad time I'm happy for them.

I mean how can anyone today doubt that covid 19 is a serious deadly illness? How?

Gents I went shopping today in a red county and the masks were off for white shoppers. Peeps of color and other minorities continued to wear them as did some other responsible shoppers.
