What are the roots of the expression "2 sheet in the wind?"

Sailing no doubt.

(and it probably has something to do with RUM rations..)

The Watergate (also known as Traitors Gate) is one of the entrances to the tower of London. Prisoners were brought through the gate by boat and most were never seen or heard from again. Queen Elizabeth herself was brought though the Watergate when imprisoned (for being a Protestant) while still a princess, before the death of the queen made her the new ruler of England.

Why is LSD called LSD?

It's a acronym for lysergic acid diethylamide

We all know that Soya beans are a food source.
What other plant produces a food source that contains everything soybeans contain PLUS a few other things lacking in soybeans. (Nutritional elements)

The Wright brothers used invented LSD to be able to fly.

On a related subject.

Recent research has determined that the Salem Witch hunt was probably brought on by LSD (or at least mold on the rye they were making their bread from, which is where LSD comes from!)

Which is called "ergot" and has been used as hallucenogenic drug since the beginning of history. People in ancient times would often eat rotted rye ('cause if they didn't they would starve).

I have a (somewhat) controversial bit of useless trivia:
In the song "Red Barchetta" by Rush (Moving Pictures track 2), it is generally accepted by Rush fans that the line "White-haired uncle" refers to a real person (mostly because the phrase as been used by other bands as well who actually admit it and the song is pretty obvious). Who is that person?
Hint: dead and it's in line with the current topic ^
