Ok, it was a lame question I know. Answer is Albert Hofman, the discoverer of LSD, who the Birds referred to as "my white-haired uncle Albert"

Got another one, switching topics, not so obscure and an easier to find specific answer. In 1975, what was the only model car sold in America by GM with a gasoline engine that both (1) did not have pushrods and (2) had electronic fuel injection?

edit: and please include the GM division that sold it

I know GM made a Rotory Vette, not sure what year it was though or how many were produced.

EDIT: Looks like it was before 75 though.

They did  I never knew that.
Whoa! They did. Looks like it never went into production though. Damn, a 4 rotor wankel... that would have had the equivalent smoothness as a 24 cylinder reciprocating piston engine :Q

Anyway, that's not the answer, this vehicle was in production and sold in America. That's right, folks, GM actually sold a car in 1975 that didn't have pushrods and had EFI... who would've thought? :p

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop? Because i'm bored and want to ask something easy.

That would depend on WHO is doing the licking.

Jean Simmons I'm sure would get there quicker than say a avaravge four year old.

you can borrow my useless stats about $40,000,000,000:

40 billion cash?
thats 800000000 (800 mil) $50 bills
lets say that a small stack of $50 bills is about $5000 and about 1 inch high
thats 8000000 (8 million) stacks of cash 1 inch high
that would make one stack of cash 126.26 miles high

if it was split into 12000 piles, each would be 55 feet high

if each bill was sewn together end to end, it would almost stretch 2 times to the moon and back
or 134 times round the earth

that amount of money could buy 40 million tonnes of cheese!!!
or 66 billion tins of pedigree chum!!!

Hmmm... clearly I ask the tough ones ;) :p

Ok, the answer is the 1975 Opel Manta sold in America under the Buick nameplate. pic (very hard to find)
It had a 1.9L I-4 "cam-in-head" engine with Bosch EFI producing ~102bhp. It was the only car sold by GM that year that both had no pushrods and had EFI. pic from a German magazine
Opel, despite still being popular in Europe, never caught on in America and 1975 was the last year they were ever sold over here.

No google - but my understanding is that it was part of a gov project during (pre?) Vietnam to develop a perfect truth seryum. Interesting note was that MJ was also tried with varying results -sometimes it would work, sometimes you just got the munchies.
