Nope, but you're kinda on the right track. Affects a plant (in a beneficial way...hence the "noble")

Hehe, nope. It's a fungus (Botrytis Cinerea) that grows on wine grapes in certain regions. Actually improves the flavor of the wine by effectively concentrating the juice.

Noble rot.
