The McLaren F1...well...it's the fastest car in production
Don't tell me you believe that Production Car crap. # cars in a line thats being hand built from scraps of carbon fiber is NOT production. They tricked the low will-power public into believing this so they could have that title. If a car reaches more then 80 a year and is assembled on a line then it's production. Otherwise there is the same amount of Shelby's special cars on the road also and built in the same garage like matter.
Yea, I know that car companies put superchargers on cars. Even if they are bolt-on, its still a major change to your car, its not like your just putting a new exhaust on it or something. I'm just saying that I don't see the point of someone sticking a blower on a $40k car, unless they have tons of excess money just laying around. I doubt GM will honor their warranty on a vette if they found out that you put a blower on it
Take my advice then and go to your local NHRA track or wherever you wish, it is a VERY common thing to come across. And for GM cars it's not that far off. You can buy a GM Shortblock replacement for less then $2000. I think if someone has the money to buy a Vette and INSURE it then I'm sure this isn't that bad, Especially if they are intending it for Race. Actually I'm sure of it, cause I see these racers all the time. thats why Vortech spent so much time making a kit that would work for the net Cobra, cause it was in demand.
