Now, suing and winning is a whole other issue.

Except, these days lawyers (even those who know they will win hands down in court) will still settle even frivolous suits if it costs less. Dominion's lawsuit was obviously not frivolous, and they could have absolutely eliminated Fox News as a business entity had they gone to court; however, they instead settled for a much smaller payday instead of making a payday with a point in court.

Survive for what? Budget done for rest of the term. Aid packages better than nothing. When does summer break happen? So it’s moot point to be speaker for next month and then return in the fall. But then everyone campaigning also.

Nah, Johnson is still 90% MAGA crazy and will continue putting forward mostly Trump/FHC bills. He just rarely can be pulled back into reality to deal with crises (but only after they've festered into worse crises), as opposed to the rest of the FHC which wants to burn down the country.

Who knows what votes will come up in the remainder of the term, but even if it only deals a huge "L" to MTG/Gaetz/Massie wing of the GQP then it was still worth it.
 
She truly is repugnant, and not referring at all to her physical looks.

Between her, Gaetz and that complete weirdo Santos, the GOP is definitely on a role to see how inbred their party can act. The Democrats have their "winners" too, like Menendez (who they need to kick out) and Weiner (who they did kick out). Hell they made Franken quit and what he did doesn't even register next to these GOP turds.

I think you intentionally noted the difference: Democrats kick out their bad apples while the GQP reelects theirs. 😛 Santos is the rare exception.

Marge seems content to highlight how useless the Freedumb Caucus is... and her district will reelect her in November by > 20 points.
