I want to say I had success with other B&M, I got Fry's to match the local $100 BB drive, and it came with a $80 rebate. So $20 isn't bad for a 129gb 8mb cache drive. I smiled when I saw their computer display "Warning Gross Profit < 0" .
I just walked up to the CC store with the printout of the BB price tag provided earlier and said I'd like to PM this. Westminster BB said they might be getting more in tomorrow, give them a call at 10am to double check (be persistant, they're a bunch of morons when it comes to answering the phone). It's possible you'll get the PM at a CC...no guarentees though. You may have to go to CC in westminster or south denver to get it. If you don't think you can get it, I'd say just return it. I for one think I can get it because I got the PM...we'll see though.

It's not Sunday, the unadvertised sale is over. If BB has the 120GB drives in stock, just have them PM CC!

Does Circuit City or Western Digital have any issues with the web rebate forms instead of that computer print out? Nots like the CC rebate form print for the WD rebate is the same as the rebate form I got from Frys.
They ripped up mine too, and went to another store and they won't print it.
Why would a shelf tag in a store open to the public not constitute an advertisement?

This is kind of like saying the CircuitCity legal team is incompetent. I think they know the definition of an advertisement and if it was their policy to only pricematch NEWSPAPER advertisements, I think they would have made that clear in their pricematch policy and not left this giant loophole in there. But, you could be right. I tried Irvine, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Huntington Beach.Originally posted by: russw Ollie: Which OC stores have you tried? It's not an ad.Why would a shelf tag in a store open to the public not constitute an advertisement?...russ
