Just got my Palm and other 2 items. My Staples must like me as they rang up the Palm at $149.94 for a final price of $98.68. This deal is almost as sweet as the Nomad II deal was.

Just checked mine. Only charged, so far, for the first portion of the
order.

I believe it all has to do with the CSR processing your order. Some
apples fall further from the trees than others. You obviously got
a stickler for the rules (earning their $9.50/hr).

donerb...yep, i think i got a csr that either owns staples in part or has stock in the company! i think i made my mistake when i tried to do the price-match with the deal becase i think they look over your order closer. (i didn't call asking stupid questions about the coupons or the deal just to pricematch the visor after i made the order online). the csr also told me that they look over orders that are placed online (all orders according to her) and that if you need to be charged more for one reason or another that they will do it without your permission because she said they don't need it since you placed the order. i'm definitely returning the 2 ink cartridges they're sending me now, but will try it first at the staples b+m store using that stupid no-invoice invoice they send. if all else fails i'll return them by mail. hell, why would i order 2 of those cartridges when i don't even have the printer! i just did it because it was supposedly necessary for the deal. oh well...vroom

taserT, I don't get how they can say that they don't need authorization to &quot;ADD ONTO&quot; an existing order or create a NEW order without first contacting the buyer so that they can either cancel or accept the change.

BTW I took a look at Staples policies on their web page but couldn't find anything on this subject, but couldn't find anything. I hope this doesn't happen to my order.

It probably wont ever show up on the website. Frequently when I order from them I usually get charged less for what the price is on their website on some items. For example every time i get ink cartridges from their website they show each one (black and color cartridges) as $29.99 but everytime I get the receipt they only charge me 23.99 and 27.99 for the two. I guess it just depends on your local staples.

anyway...found this case for $19.14 delivered (available in 3 colors)

i also picked up a stylus 3-pack since my friends are always breaking/losing theirs
