OR,
Nicely request to exchange for something you can use at a B&M- "I meant to buy XXX, but SOMEHOW I bought this".

I'm not sure why those particular coupons work. I tried sweetening the deal up a bit by using a $30 off and it did not work. Thanks, luv2save for the heads-up!!

Could one of the mods please explain why you can't post codes. Isn't that kind of contrary to what this forum is about? Seems odd to me.

I jumped onto the bandwagon. Thanks.

Good thing I have a Canon printer. Not sure what to do with the CD though.

Can you return items bought online at the Staples B&M? If so then yes, do what Richard98 suggests and try to get something you can use.

Even though you can't substitute the "junk," you can sub. the Palm. Apparently anything equal to or higher than the dollar amount of the Palm can be used. I replaced the Palm with a Handspring unit and got it to work.

i'm still confused... where and how do these coupons work? can someone PM me and let me how this works? i thought 1) coupons weren't stackable, and 2) they always involved a minimum purchase?

THIS is why I don't come here very often...

Guess I just won't eat lunch for the next four weeks cuz I got a new Palm IIIxe coming...

I got to stay out of Hot Deals...

For those of you who purchased Visor instead of Palm IIIxe, what prompted you to do so? What I am asking is, why is Visor better than Palm? ie. cosmetics, build quality, etc. Thanks.

Gosh, this is scorching hot! I already have a Casio and I just ordered one! Now I feel bad...:( But I guess I can always give it as a gift right?

This is a nice deal. But what can I do with the software and Cartridge? I really don't need them. Maybe I can return them to Local store, if I can get full refund, that will be really hot.

And don't forget the $50 rebate on the visor deluxe. Total for the visor deluxe and the above extras comes to $199.72 - $50 rebate = $149.72 + whatever tax you had to pay.

huey1124,
I purchased the Visor over the Palm just because of the expandability. I would say that they are virtually identical as far as performance goes, but the Springboard slot allows future upgradability. I don't really care for either one, I use a HP Jornada 548. I just purchased this for my roommate who has wanted one for a while. I should be able to make a little money off of him(finder's fee!), and would be a big plus if I can return the other stuff to the B&M for full credit.

Dont but a visor, no reason to. Visors were only good when they offered more for a better price.. well sort of. Now with palm prices dropping.. there is no reason for visor deluxes to be priced at 250. They should have dropped to 199 long ago. There are problems with build quality and having to push harder to write.. bad backlights etc. Expandability really isnt a selling point, any mods you add won't work as well as normal devices that can be had for less:p

I'd still buy a visor over the palm offerings. Palm IIIxe's are the same price as Visors are right now (visors have $50 rebates). Plus the Palm m105 has smaller screen than the visor (not sure how much it costs though). I like the visor's expandability, plus it just feels more solid to me.

well if your talking regular price.. maybe. but even at regular price and rebate the visors are only the same price as xe/m105. They should be lower:p or offer a new model with better features/fixes. but compared to 115... the xe is unquestionably better.
