If you order online and do in-store pickup, you get it w/o tax, which might come out better than $189.99 + tax. In my state (GA) it is better. I'm in for two!!

The price shows $249.99. After $50.00 rebate, it will be $199.99. How do you get $189.99?

20% off of $300 is $240 - $50 rebate = $190. 🙂

This price is smokin, I got tired of waiting and bought it from MC a couple of weeks ago when it was $250.00AR(which was a good deal) Congrats to those who are getting it for this price!!

Is anyone else having difficulties ordering this online? I've tried 3 different credit cards (yes, they're all good), 2 different computers, and I continually get an error that says my billing address doesn't match my bank's records (and yes, the address is correct also).

I tried calling, but they're offices are closed today.

To LJHarper, I had no problems in fact I ordered it this morning and just got the Fedex tracking number in an e-mail.

There might be a bug in the web page all I can say is keep trying.

Do you have to be in store to get the $240 price?

no problem with ordering . . .

i got a FedEx tracking number today also . . . delivery expected on Thursday [i paid an extra $3 . . . so $278 total - $50 = $228].

if your CC info is wrong, you might call your CC co or MicroCenter tomorrow , LJHarper . . .

AFAIK, there is no restocking charge if you decide against keeping it.

You can show them this Ad where it shows reg. price of $300, price after 20% savings and $50 MIR.
Looks like the $199.99 is if they took 20% off the after MIR price which is unfair.

Are you serious?!

That ad was for one day only, which is past. How is that going to hold up now?

I went to Microcenter in GA today and bought two of the cards (they had like 60 in stock). The price on the shelf said $239 -$50 rebate, so the correct 20% off price has obviously been recognized. The rebate form says a limit of two per name/address/CC.

I have been trying to order this card and keep getting the same thing.
In prior deals from MC others have posted the same yet I have had no problems TILL THIS ONE!
And yes I cleared cookies. Copied address from CC website. Used IE, Netscape, and Opera, on two different systems. Same Broadband connection though.
Guess its the luck of the draw.
30 minutes till they are on the phones so I will just call.

wow that is one uninformed post! I think I might get the ASrock Dual Mobo pop this into the AGP and use it for a year then pop in a PCI-E board after. Man that is cheap.

Dang, this deal is on fire but won't this card get bottlenecked by many AGP running computers? Just curious, as I have a Duron running at 2.4 gigs. Not sure if I should jump on this deal though, if the card is going to be slightly better than a 9800 Pro.

Could I have some of that you're on? "Slightly better than a 9800 Pro" lmfao a 9800pro is no where near a x850xt in performance. A 9800pro is about 1/3 the performance of this card, check benchmarks and fps in games.

I picked up the x850 Pro for $229 at CompUSA (no rebates) a few days back. It softmodded to 16 pipes with no problems.

Try overclocking it. The difference between an x850 XT and x850 XT PE is only 20 mhz on the GPU and 50 mhz on the RAM.

My x850 Pro RAM overclocked 100mhz to 600mhz (10 faster than the XT PE) with ATI Tool. The GPU only stably overclocked 26 mhz, just 6 mhz faster than XT speeds. So I now have a hybrid card that is somwhere between an XT and XT PE.

If that's typical, odds are real good that you can turn your XT into an XT PE.

Smok'n deal. Just ordered online w/ pickup in store. I was actually looking for a GeForce 6800 GT card, but this deal is too good. I'm not sure which card is better actually. They are both pretty close. Unless someone thinks otherwise...
