I'm suprised it even lasted this long for the hot models for a coupon so big.

So anyone trying to get the student discount too, do you have to wait until your order is already shipped or will they even do anything if you were to email/chat/call them up right now. I guess its worth a shot?

I got the 9100 early :) They axed that real fast. First they took it off the site, then they killed everything associated with it. Web links from google, sites, everything got killed. haha they figured out they are probably losing money on those. I was lucky to get in early. 3.2ghz 800fsb ^_^

Their lines are very busy right now. I just submitted a change order request form (modifying a couple things on my order), so I won't bother calling them until I find out if that even goes through.

yea I want to make a change on my order too but hesitant to call right now

I wanna switch from the Extended batter on the 700m to the normal one and add an additional battery.

Quick question tho.
Can you run both batteries at the same time ? Or just one at a time ?

If the additional battery is the modular type, you should be able to run both for extended capacity (It's that way on my 600m anyways).

Dead for 8600 & 700m. They did stop it a few minutes late, but it's officially gone for these two laptops.

Still good for XPS, 5160, 600m, 1150, and 1000.

I cna't process my order. It keeps giving me a "sorry, can't process request" message. It's either getting hammered or they're totally out.

Weird thing is, my Confirmation order is $13 cheaper than my Acknowledgement total. The unit price is the same... it looks like the math is screwed up with my Confirmation order.

Doesn't count the accessories :(
I wanted to get el-cheapo laptop, camera, axim, etc. But it turns out you have to pick $1500 from the first screen for it to work.
So you can get a laptop and 19' lcd monitor, but not a laptop and canon video camera.

Yeah, as explained above, the coupon stopped being good for the 8600 and 700m at just after 3pm CST.

Yea I jumped on the 1150 with the 1905fp.

It'll be a nice upgrade from my 1800FP. Was looking to go larger.

No, I didnt apply for Dell credit, paid with 1 CC (Mastercard). Dunno what made it $13 cheaper, I double checked my config and all was the same as when I placed the order and all was the same.
