Hmm so tempting. Already have an unlocked 6800 I snagged for $149 AR from a Fry's deal. But this much performance for $229 is hard to resist. Is it worth it?

I think it is. Right now, x800XT PE is the 3rd fastest single card available... until the 7800GT and Quadro G70 come out. ;)

Argh. I had to buy it even though I'm perfectly happy with my 9800pro. I hope they cancel my order ;). I gotta stop reading this forum...

OMG! I wonder how many people here fall into this catagory?

Oh, I'm in for one as well. :cookie:

Ordered one as well.... Isn't this quite a large amount of pre-orders for refurbished cards already? Hard to know how exactly they can fill all of these orders.

Anyone else questioning this?

If I get it. Great. If I don't get it. Oh well.

Too many orders and not enough refurb cards might mean brand new cards for some.

In other words its very possible that there are a lot of people who more than likely won't be getting their order accepted...

Possibility. Or maybe get brand new cards instead. It's direct from ATI so I'm sure they have plenty of brand new ones they can replace it with instead.

I bit in too. It will be a good tradeup from a 6600GT but terrible for the wallet.

We'll see what happens. If they cancel, no biggie here. LOL

This deal is just too good to pass. I think it will be a big improvement from my Ti4200....unless they cancel it :)
Anyone have this and running WoW ? How's the performance?

Boy, I wish they had a counter on their page showing just how many of each card have been ordered so far.
