129250 $24.04

UPDATE:

Tried instore pickup again this morning and now shows $24.04. Tried to do instore pickup again but it wouldn't let me add to cart at checkout.
Went to my OD B&M and it scanned at $24.04

Website price was $69.59 until I selected a specific store for pickup.

I noticed this new clearance price at OD today also.

BB is also clearancing these out for $55.

Retail Audigy MP3+ at Newegg is $75 so it looks like this clearance price is a pretty good deal.

Gah, you couldn't pay me to put that in my system. 🙂

Because of the Creative drivers? I agree that they're pretty bad, but you can always run WHQL ones instead.

I just ordered an Audigy 2 oem from knowledgemicro for about 70 bucks shipped (through pw).

There are zero problems with Audigy drivers. THe people moaning about "creative drivers" are referring to the SB Live! disaster.

AUdigy drivers are rock solid in win98 and xp. I've built several systems with Audigy 1 and 2's, and the performance -- and reliability -- is awesome.

they are doing it at $67.99 here 🙁
not that i'm upset -- saw this deal and got two of them for $45.xx + tax before i left town a few weeks ago
need one for gta3, the onboard ac 97 is not doing it by itself
"I was going to give you a $100..."
lol!

That denpends on your system. While it may be true that some people have no problems with the drivers, some do have issues with the drivers. One issue that immediately comes to mind is the problems some people have had with multiprocessor and hyperthreaded single processor systems. I'm not sure whether Creative has addressed that issue yet with their most recent drivers or not but in the past it's been a problem for folks with multiprocessor (and even single processor hyperthreaded) systems.

> What's the major diff between the Audigy 1 and the Audigy 2.

are this Audigy 1 or the Audigy 2 ?

update: looks like it's a Audigy 1

I would stay FAR away if it is audigy 1, which is reported have a lot of incompatibility driver problem...

I was real lucky, the OD here in Vegas had 50% off all of the clearance stuff, so I picked up the Audigy for only $12.02.

I snagged one today also... working fine. Got the last one in the Lakeland, FL store.

I guess there are still a few out there.

$24.04

Got one today at lunch! Replaced my Live Value card. Installed, updated and
working great! $25 bucks out the door .......

😀

Damn, no @hit!!! All of the OD's around the bay area (SF, CA) that I checked seem to be out...had to cough up $65.00 for an OEM...🙁
