Actually, let them ship it to you an give me a quick side-by-side comparison of the sleepwarehouse versus overstock toppers so I can make a better decision :) Just make the delivery guy stand there while you give it a quick test and refuse it when the verdict is in.

I paid 105.99, so your order must have been a bad system quirk.

I had no luck cancelling it. :| The manager said they simply don't have a way to do that, otherwise she would love to. I told her that overstock would love to allow customers to cancel orders so much that they created a system that doesn't allow orders to ever be cancelled.

She is sending a message to some department that is going to try and cancel it before it ships, altho they don't get in until monday. I don't see that happening.

But she took notes in my account and told me that if I receive it and call back, I can get a prepaid label from them sent to me (email I think) and they will pay the return shipping and waive the restocking fee. Given that their system is designed to screw the customer when they need to cancel an order...I guess I can deal with that.

So that's the best I could do. The manager I talked to was Lacie(?) in Utah.

(And I'd love to test it, but don't want to jeopardize restocking fees by opening it and returning it 'used' looking, which it would once its decompressed.)

I clicked on my link in the original post...added a King to my shopping cart, checked out and paid. Nothing special...it just worked the way it was supposed to.

EDIT: I cant even get it to show up at that price anymore

Try clearing your cache and/or closing your browsers. The original link still shows the $25 off.

I still may keep it and could let you know how they compare.

I want it to cut up for dog beds because my dog is getting old and has arthritis, and LOVES sleeping on the memory foam on my bed. :) I haven't had much money to spend lately, so I need to think about it some more whether or not I can keep it.

King size offers the most square footage of all of them so thats the one I got.

htf can they not cancel or change an order? I just want this order to be canceled or be charged 25 less dollars since I could reorder this damn thing at the appropriate price.

This better go somewhere or I may have to get my CC involved.

Hmmm...curious, why? I ripped it from FW...they have a thread called 'overstock customer requests' or something, where members ask for discounts on certain items, and then overstock updates the thread each week with many of the items discounted.

So its from there and the link is a special discount link in this fw thread only.

(so when you said it made you pay regular price instead...I wondered if it was because the link didn't come from the proper referral site, ie fw., thus one of the reasons why I tried buying it myself...I didn't want that to happen to everyone else here who might try it. :) )

I proved it to them, now I have a 25$ in store credit which i guess is ok considering everything. I have to say, their csrs have been very nice but they are working with a busted system that really limits what they can do to help.

Sweet. I agree...they have a crappy system, which is supposedly going to be replaced this year.

I got mine with paypal for 105.99. I ordered a twin though so maybe they just jacked the prices up on the larger ones.

$104.99 + $1 shipping = $106

ripped from fw, overstock deals 'by request'

Does anyone know how this compares to a aero air mattress
Ed
That's more of a guest bed. This is a mattress topper, to make the mattress much more comfortable, but is to soft on its own to be used on a hard surface.

I got my shopping cart to that but couldn't checkout with it, so I believe its possible.

Please do your fellow HD'ers a favor and explain what route you took, which coupon, which order etc. to see if it can be duplicated by others who haven't ordered yet.

As far as we know you applied your own $10 gift certificate or account credit.

PM me if necessary, thx.

/edit: Btw, if you ordered a King instead of a TwinXL, and used some scissors, you could have gotten 2 for the same price. The Twinxl is 37"x77", while the King is 76"x77".

thanks OP, i tried the coupon trick, but it killed the 25 discount, so i just gave up on it. 106 still seems like a good price.

my parents have one of those mattresses, and they are awesome. i hope this at least sort of mimics it..

Yeah I wish I had ordered a king instead so i could cut it in half =(.

But anyways, It took my a while to get it down to $95.99. But it goes something like this(copied from fw):

-use link to get $20 off.
-close the browser
-open overstock browser (not from chubwallet.com link)
-additional $10 off will be applied.(a popup window)
